THIS IS HOW THE SMS ALERT PRAYER OPERATION WORKS.
SMS are sent FREE of charges every WEDNESDAY and from 12:00 a.m to 11:00 p.m (Cameroon time) to all people who have subscribed to the service. They are sent with the header PrayerSMS.
Every Wednesday, and every 15 minutes, our server will send a prayer subject to a group of people. Membership of a group depends on the chosen prayer time.
Each time slot will be divided into 4 sub-slots of 15 minutes and the numbers in this slot, also divided into 4 so that, in a time slot, each quarter of an hour can have people praying. It could be that in your chosen time, you will receive the SMS on the 1st, 2nd, 3rd or 4th quarter of an hour.
The principle is that, upon receipt of the prayer subject, everyone dedicates at least 1 minute (60 seconds) to raising it to God.
You can notify us at any time if you wish to change the reception time and language. Simply send an email to sms@prayersms.com indicating your number, your old time slot and the new desired one.
Some figures:
Our ambition is to have at least 100 numbers (a number corresponding to an intercessor) per hour divided into 4 or 25 for each quarter hour which will make at least 2400 people praying on Wednesday for Cameroon.
We will send every Wednesday a prayer subject every 15 minutes (provided that there are at least 25 numbers for every quarter of an hour so 100 / Hour)
For each hour, the subject of prayer will be the same so we will send 24 prayer subjects in French and English.
which will make:
• 24 prayer topics each week (or 96 per month) on Cameroon as the spirit leads us, according to the news and currents events;
• 2400 people at least each week, raising Cameroon before the Lord (ie around 10,000 per month);
• In 52 weeks, we will have 1248 prayer subjects raised to God by at least 124,800 people;
• Which makes 2080 hours of prayer for Cameroon in 52 weeks.
Let us imagine that we hold this prayer chain not just one day a week but every day of the week.
